Discussions to determine the feasibility of the 4 graduate chapters in Chicago: Iota, Sigma Omega, Rho Gamma Gamma and Rho Mu Mu - merging into one chapter to consolidate resources and focus efforts to support the mission and purpose of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Meetings are monthly.

Benjamin Elijah Mays(August 1, 1894 – March 28, 1984) was an American Baptist minister and civil rights leader who is credited with laying the intellectual foundations of the Civil Rights Movement.

While Woodson is the Father of Black History, he is not the ‘founder’ of Black History Month per se. That distinction belongs to The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
